My Book Recommendations

Recently I have been reading a lot and thought that I would share my favourite books for my fellow book worms.
This series of six books by Ally Carter have been a firm favourite of mine for a while as I first ready these when I was 13. They are about a group of girls that go to a spy boarding school, they are better than I do them justice for and I recommend them highly.

from left to right,
The lost days of summer by Kate Flynn has been my most recent read and I have loved it, as I haven't read a book set in the war I didn't know what to expect from this book. But the story of this Liverpool evacuee working on a farm and are day to day experiences and lovers riddles have made me want to read more.
One day by David Nicholls was on my to read list ever since I watch the film, the film also being one of my favourites. This book is much better than the film as it goes into a much more depth look of Emma and Dexters friendship. This book is a rollercoaster for the emotions but I would recommend this book to anyone.

from left to right,
Looking for Alaska by John Green is another great read. I have heard so many people raving about this book so I thought I should try it out for myself and I was too amazed by this book. You really feel as if you are their with Miles and is just a brilliant book.
Shift by Em Bailey, I wasn't 100% sure when I chose this book but after the first few chapters I knew I had made the right choice. I don't normally go for books like this but I really enjoyed following Miranda through her struggles. I highly recommend this book.

from left to right,
The truth about melody Browne by Lisa Jewell, this book is down right the best book. I struggled to put this book down as I was so drawn in by the ever unwinding storyline. You uncover more and more about melodys life as she uncovers her life's mysteries.
13 little blue envelopes by Maureen Johnson, this book is so inspiring as you follow Ginny around on her travels, slowly uncovering each of the 13 letters left by her aunt. I have read and reread this book many times and is definitely one of my favourites.

I have also been reading books on my iPod when I'm on the go and this was the first one on my shopping list. So many people have raved about this book and now I am also raving about it as its such a beautiful read and you just wont be able to hold back the tears when reading it. It is a very heart warming and emotional book that is just so inspiring.

Another one of the books I have read on my iPod has been the book thief by Markus Zusak. After seeing this amazing film I really wanted to read this book as I really liked studying Hitlers Germany in History. I am currently only half way through this book but I still highly recommend this book.

This is kind of cheating as its not a book but for the last year I have been ready Company magazine and I absolutely love it. Its a fashion magazine but with other things in as well. I just think its the perfect magazine and recommend it to you.

I also adore the Harry Potter books and I am a huge Harry Potter fan. The books are amazingly written and go into so much more depth than the films. Unfortunately someone has borrowed them.

I have also been loving the I love books by Lesly Kelk. This series of  6 books are just truly amazing. you follow Angela and her friend Jenny around in their life meeting new people and having new life adventures. I really recommend this series of books.

Hope you enjoy these books.
