My Plug Collection

Some of you may know that I have got my ear stretched and I have had it stretched for over 5 years. I have a reasonable collection of plugs and tapers that I'm going to show you.

My ears aren't stretched that big and my biggest plugs are 6mm/2 gauge, and my stretchers include the ones I stretched up with.

First up are the tapers I used to stretch up. All of these were bought in a shop in the city that I live in, and cost £3.50 each. The 1.2mm/16 gauge snapped in half so I no longer have that one. I have two 2mm/12gauge tapers, these are the sparkly light blue one and the black one. I have one 3.2mm/8 gauge, which is the clear one with blue, red, black and white splodges on it. I have one 4mm/6 gauge, which is the sparkly dark blue one. I have one 5mm/4 gauge, which is the one with stars on. Lastly, I have two 6mm/2 gauge, these are the back and white patterned one and the sparkly pink one. I love these as they are all individual and colourful. I stretched using petroleum jelly and did it just after I came out of the shower as its suggested to do. I found most stretches easy and made sure there was at least 3 weeks between stretches so I had no experiences with bleeding or blow outs.

Secondly I have my screw on plugs (maybe called single flared plugs). These are my absolute favourite to wear and I think that they look really nice in the ear, especially the colourful ones. All are from the same shop in my city except the silver one which was from Blue Banana, all costing £4.50. I have one 4mm/6 gauge one, which is the blue and green patterned one. I have two 5mm/4 gauge ones, these are the blue and red patterned one and the silver one. Lastly, I have one 6mm/2 gauge, which is the black spiky one, I really really hate this stretcher and have only worn it once.

Lastly I have double flared plugs. I have only just started to be interested in these, as I used to think that they would get stuck in your ear (they don't). I have three 5mm/4 gauge ones, which are the amethyst, turquoise and pink semi precious stone ones. These are from the Ear Stretcher Shop on Amazon, costing £1.79 each. I also have a pair of 6mm/2 gauge ones, these are the opal ones. These are from Arctic Buffalo on Etsy, costing £4.65. I love all four of these so much and wear them a lot.

If you don't like stretchers this will be my last post on them, unless its requested. It will go back to beauty and lifestyle posts tomorrow. If you want to stretch your ears, do it slowly and do not force anything into your ear.

Thanks of reading,

Lots of love

Beth
