'Give your dreams the wings to fly'

My friend has given me the most beautiful necklace for Christmas! It was a small wing filled with diamanté. As wonderful as the necklace was, it was the box that has got me really inspired. The words 'give your dreams the winds to fly'. I have heard about this quote before but when I saw it on the box it meant a lot. Recently things haven't been perfect and this quote felt like a glimmer of light at the end of a dark tunnel.

Dreams are not dreams until you do something that will enable you to achieve them. 

If you have a dream, you have to do something about it! You have to put your all towards that dream. Doing nothing about it, will make it always be a dream and never reality.

Applying for university, the majorly stressful experience, is seen as one way to start your dream. One of my dreams is to become an interior designer. It's been a dream of mine ever since I was a small child. I have four interviews for university, and I have to produce a portfolio of work that they will use to decide if they will offer me a place. Going back to the quote, I have been saying for a few weeks that I will have time to do it after Christmas and I won't need to do much for the interviews. But when I read that quote it has shown me that I need to start doing things that will help me achieve my dream. Today I have started work and have been so inspired to everything I can to achieve the dream I have set myself.
